Maximillian I the emperor of the Burgundian Netherlands from 1477 was a passionate lover of tapestries. This scene depicts the month of April, the beginning of hawking season under the sign of the bull. The hounds are brought from the imperial hunting lodge. Woven from 100% natural cotton and enhanced with wool. Woven by skilled artisans on a Jacquard Loom in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, this large heirloom tapestry will grace your home with Medieval charm and style.
