Maximillian I the emperor of the Burgundian Netherlands from 1477 was a passionate lover of tapestries. This scene depicts the month of April, the beginning of hawking season under the sign of the bull. The hounds are brought from the imperial hunting lodge. This unusual version of this fine Medieval hunting scene is in sepia toned colors only and will make a great and unique touch to your decor.
